The Islamic Center of Claremont (ICC) was established over 30 years ago to serve the needs of Muslims in Pomona, Claremont, and surrounding communities. The ICC provides a religious and educational environment that meets the growing needs of our diverse and ever-expanding Muslim community.
The Islamic Center of Claremont is a not-for-profit, independent organization (EIN:95-4609548). One of its main functions is to practice & propagate Islam in USA by providing religious, educational, & recreational facilities for members of the public at large. Protecting American Muslim identity is its prime goal.
There are over a billion Muslims across the globe. Muslims come from every nationality, race, ethnicity, and all walks of life. Muslims are united in their belief in one God (Allah), prophets of Allah, and the final word of Allah which is the Holy Quran.
Islam completes the long chain of guidance from Allah to humanity. Meticulously preserved and thoroughly documented, Islam’s message has a familiar resonance, owing to its shared history and common values with Abrahamic religions.
Islam reiterates a return to basic principles of faith: belief in Allah, righteous living, and faith in the afterlife. Islam is the culmination of the universal message of Allah taught by all of His prophets. Muslims believe that a prophet was chosen for every nation at some point in their history, enjoining them to worship Allah alone and delivering guidance on how to live peacefully with others. Some of the prophets of Allah include Adam, Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, peace be upon them all. The prophets all conveyed the consistent divine message of worshiping Allah, along with specific societal laws for each nation’s circumstances.
